Planting & Care Tips

Plant Rotala Wallichii Pink stems individually in nutrient-rich aquarium substrate, leaving sufficient space between them for light penetration and healthy growth. Grouping several stems together creates a fuller, more attractive display.

Provide strong lighting, consistent CO₂ levels and balanced macro- and micronutrients. Stable water conditions are important because this plant can be sensitive to sudden changes. Under insufficient lighting or without adequate CO₂, it may develop thin, stretched growth and lose its characteristic pink-red coloration.

Trim the upper stems regularly to maintain the desired height and replant healthy cuttings to expand your plant group. Allow newly planted stems time to adapt to submerged growth.
