Planting & Care Tips

Plant Ludwigia Palustris stems individually in nutrient-rich substrate, leaving enough space between them for light penetration and healthy growth. Provide balanced nutrients and stable water conditions to encourage attractive foliage.

For stronger red coloration and compact growth, use adequate lighting and consider CO₂ supplementation. Under lower lighting, the plant may remain greener and develop longer spaces between its leaves.

Regular trimming helps maintain the desired height and encourages side shoots. Healthy stem cuttings can be replanted to create a dense, colourful aquarium background.
