Planting & Care Tips

Plant Proserpinaca Palustris stems individually in suitable aquarium substrate, leaving enough space between stems for light penetration and healthy development.

Provide strong lighting, stable CO₂ levels and balanced nutrients to encourage attractive coloration. Although it can grow without injected CO₂, supplementation generally supports better growth and more intense colour.

An interesting feature of this plant is its changing leaf shape. Leaves grown above water may look broader and more serrated, while submerged growth can develop finely divided, comb-like leaves. Allow time for the plant to adapt after planting underwater.

Trim and replant healthy stem tops to expand your plant group and maintain an attractive arrangement.
