Planting & Care Tips

Plant Polygonum Sp. Pink stems individually in suitable aquarium substrate, leaving enough space between stems for light penetration and healthy development. Grouping several stems together can create a fuller, more colourful display.

Provide good lighting, balanced nutrients and stable water conditions to encourage healthy foliage. CO₂ supplementation can help improve growth and colour intensity. Some forms may require stronger lighting and more consistent fertilisation to develop their best pink or orange-red tones.

Trim the stems regularly to maintain the desired height and encourage side shoots. Replant healthy cuttings to expand your plant group. Allow emersed-grown plants time to adapt after introduction to submerged aquarium conditions.
