Planting & Care Tips

Divide Pogostemon Helferi into smaller portions and plant them in nutrient-rich aquarium substrate, leaving space between each portion for healthy growth. Keep the crown exposed rather than burying the entire plant in the substrate.

Provide suitable lighting, stable water conditions and adequate nutrients to encourage compact, curly foliage. CO₂ supplementation is not essential, but it can improve growth and help the plant develop a fuller appearance.

Under lower lighting, the leaves may grow taller and the plant may become less compact. Regularly remove deteriorating leaves and ensure sufficient water circulation around the foliage.
