Planting & Care Tips

Plant Limnophila Repens stems in suitable aquarium substrate, leaving enough space between stems for healthy growth and light penetration. Provide balanced nutrients, stable water conditions and moderate to strong lighting.

CO₂ supplementation can support denser growth and more attractive coloration, although the plant may grow without injected CO₂ under suitable conditions. Stronger lighting can encourage deeper reddish tones, depending on the variety.

Trim the stems regularly to maintain the desired height and encourage side shoots. Replant healthy cuttings to create a fuller, more colourful aquarium background.
