Planting & Care Tips

Plant Lysimachia Nummularia stems in suitable aquarium substrate or allow them to trail over rocks and driftwood. Its stems can develop roots at the nodes, helping the plant spread across suitable surfaces.

Provide good lighting, balanced nutrients and stable water conditions. Additional CO₂ is optional, while stronger lighting can help maintain healthy, compact foliage.

Important: Lysimachia Nummularia is naturally a marginal plant, and long-term submerged growth can be less reliable in continuously warm tropical aquariums. It can be particularly attractive in cooler-water setups, open-top tanks and paludariums where some foliage can grow above the waterline.

Trim excess growth regularly and dispose of unwanted plant material responsibly. Never release aquarium plants into natural waterways.
