Planting & Care Tips

Plant Ludwigia Repens stems individually in suitable aquarium substrate, leaving enough space between stems for healthy growth and light penetration. Grouping several stems together creates a fuller, more attractive display.

Provide suitable lighting, balanced nutrients and stable water conditions. Stronger lighting can intensify the reddish colour, while lower lighting often produces greener foliage. CO₂ supplementation is optional but can support more vigorous growth.

Trim the upper stems regularly to encourage side shoots and maintain a dense appearance. Healthy cuttings can be replanted to expand your plant group and create a colourful aquarium background.
