Planting & Care Tips

Plant Ludwigia Repens Rubin stems individually in suitable aquarium substrate, leaving enough space between stems for healthy growth. Grouping several stems together creates a fuller, more impressive red display.

Provide suitable lighting, balanced nutrients and stable water conditions. Stronger lighting helps intensify its red coloration, while insufficient light may cause the lower leaves to drop. CO₂ supplementation is optional, making this plant a practical choice for many planted aquariums.

Trim the stems regularly to encourage side shoots and maintain a compact, bushy appearance. Healthy cuttings can be replanted to expand your plant group and create a dense, colourful aquascape.
