Planting & Care Tips

Plant Ludwigia Glandulosa Perennis stems individually in suitable aquarium substrate, leaving enough space between stems for light to reach the lower leaves. Grouping several stems together creates a dramatic red focal point against bright green aquatic plants.

Provide strong lighting, stable CO₂ supplementation and balanced macro- and micronutrients. Adequate iron and trace elements support healthy foliage, while insufficient lighting can cause the leaves to become greener and lower leaves to drop.

This plant grows relatively slowly and tends to develop upright stems with limited natural branching. Trim the main shoot when necessary to encourage side growth and maintain your desired aquascape. Replant healthy cuttings to expand your plant group.
