Planting & Care Tips

Plant Limnophila Sessiliflora stems individually in suitable aquarium substrate, leaving enough space between stems for light penetration and healthy development. Grouping several stems together creates a fuller, more attractive display.

This adaptable plant grows well under relatively low lighting and does not require injected CO₂. Additional CO₂ can encourage denser growth and help prevent stems from becoming excessively elongated in lower-light conditions.

Trim the upper stems regularly to maintain your preferred height and encourage side shoots. Healthy cuttings can be replanted in the substrate, where they can develop roots and grow into new plants.

Because Limnophila Sessiliflora grows rapidly, monitor its spread to prevent it from shading slower-growing aquarium plants.
