Planting & Care Tips

Plant Limnophila Aromatica Purple stems individually in suitable aquarium substrate, leaving enough space between stems for healthy growth and light penetration. Grouping several stems together creates a fuller and more colourful display.

Provide moderate to strong lighting, balanced nutrients and stable water conditions. CO₂ supplementation can improve growth and help develop more intense purple-red coloration. Under lower lighting, the plant may remain greener and develop more elongated growth.

Trim the stems regularly to encourage side shoots and maintain a compact appearance. Replant healthy cuttings to expand your plant group and create a vibrant aquarium background.
