Planting and Care
Remove the plant from the tissue culture cup and gently wash away the culture gel using clean water. Divide the plant into several small portions and plant them separately into the aquarium substrate.
For best growth, provide moderate to high lighting, a nutrient-rich substrate and regular nutrients. CO₂ supplementation can significantly improve growth and help the plant develop compact and healthy foliage.
Aquarium Placement
Pogostemon Helferi works particularly well as a foreground or midground plant. Its distinctive leaf shape provides excellent contrast when combined with carpeting plants and other fine-leaved aquarium plants.
Important Note
Tissue Culture plants may initially appear small when planted. This is normal. With suitable lighting, nutrients and stable aquarium conditions, the plant will gradually establish and produce new growth.
