Keep Carbon Blue Shrimp in a fully cycled aquarium with stable water parameters, gentle filtration and plenty of moss or other surfaces where biofilm can develop. Feed small amounts of suitable shrimp food and remove uneaten food to maintain water quality.

Avoid sudden changes in temperature, pH and water hardness. Copper-containing medications can be harmful to shrimp, so check treatments carefully before use. For the best colour display, consider a dark substrate and plenty of green aquatic plants.
