Planting Tips

Position Bucephalandra Melawi Clump among aquarium rocks or driftwood to create a natural, established look. If the plant is supplied loose, attach it securely to suitable hardscape using aquarium-safe glue or thread.

Keep the rhizome exposed rather than burying it in the substrate, as burial can cause rotting. Provide stable water conditions, gentle water circulation and low to moderate lighting. Avoid sudden changes in water parameters, as newly introduced Bucephalandra may shed leaves while adapting to submerged growth.

Its slow-growing nature makes it suitable for detailed aquascapes, where its textured foliage can complement mosses, ferns and other rhizome plants.
