Aquarium Setup

Feeding

Blue Mexican Dwarf Crayfish are omnivores and can be fed sinking crayfish or shrimp pellets, algae-based foods, blanched vegetables and occasional protein-rich foods.

Tank Mates

Blue Mexican Dwarf Crayfish can be kept with suitable peaceful aquarium fish in a carefully planned community aquarium. However, they should not be considered completely shrimp-safe. They may catch small or slow-moving shrimp, particularly baby shrimp.

For shrimp breeding tanks, we recommend keeping dwarf crayfish separately.
